PTA Information and Welcome

Dear Lynn Road Elementary School Families,

Welcome to Lynn Road Elementary where the Lions ROAR with pride!

We are excited about the upcoming school year, and your 2009-10 PTA Board has been hard at work over the summer planning and organizing programs and events.  We have a wonderful group of volunteers – but we need YOU to help ALL our students have a successful year.  Your involvement is especially important this year as Wake County Public Schools are facing tight budgets, as well as cuts in teaching and support staffs.

As parents, you understand the important role your participation in your child’s education plays in their academic and social success.  We cordially invite all parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends to join the Lynn Road PTA and become actively involved on our campus.  We have volunteer opportunities available to fit most schedules and talents.  Your membership in the Lynn Road PTA supports programs at our school such as community building events (Bingo Night, Spring Carnival), curriculum enrichment activities (Cultural Arts, Reading Incentive Program), and technology purchases (Bookflix software).  Please take a moment to join our team.  Your ideas, energy and participation are crucial to insure a productive year.
